Hemp may be a a part of our history and has been grown for fiber for the last 12,000 years. George Washington, Ben Franklin and Thomas Jefferson all grew hemp. Ben Franklin owned a mill that made hemp old fashioned paper. Thomas Jefferson drafted the Declaration of Independence in writing made from hemp soluble fiber.
