Что полезнее, сахар или подсластители и как они влияют на кишечник и сердце - рассказал доктор Вялов

В настоящее время появляется все больше доказательств, связывающих искусственные подсластители с увеличением веса и сердечно-сосудистыми заболеваниями. Прием подсластителей был связан с увеличением на 9% риска инфаркта и инсульта.



Доктор Вялов в своем телеграмм канале советует попытаться ограничить потребление сахара, но не рассматривать искусственные подсластители как безопасную альтернативу. Нужно уменьшить потребность в сладком вкусе в нашем рационе.

Некоторые искусственные подсластители повышают инсулин или снижают чувствительность к инсулину, скачки инсулина увеличивают ожирение, резистентность к инсулину, гипертонию и атеросклероз.

Есть некоторые более безопасные подсластители, которые не сильно или вообще не повышают уровень инсулина, такие как эритрит, корень якона/сироп якона, корень стевии.

Новые исследования показывают, что употребление двух или более подслащенных напитков в день может повысить риск рака кишечника. Диета с высоким содержанием сахара способствует развитию воспалительных заболеваний кишечника и дисфункции микробиоты кишечника. Подслащенные напитки доставляют фруктозу непосредственно в опухоли толстой кишки, что стимулирует выживание раковых клеток и рост опухолей.
